The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, through the national scientific journal accreditation system, has announced the new accreditation results for scientific journals for Period 2 of 2025, covering Ranks 3 to 6 (SINTA 3–SINTA 6). This announcement is part of the government’s efforts to enhance the quality of national scientific journal management and to promote higher standards of scientific publication within universities and research institutions.
Several scientific journals that achieved Ranks 3 to 6 have been assessed to meet the established accreditation standards, including aspects such as journal governance, article quality, publication consistency, and publication quality assurance systems.
With the announcement of the accreditation results for Ranks 3 to 6 in Period 2 of 2025, journal managers are expected to continuously improve editorial management, peer-review processes, and publication standards in order to achieve higher rankings in the next accreditation period. This announcement also serves as motivation for other scientific journals to enhance their quality and strengthen their publications to compete both nationally and internationally.
