Jambi, April 16, 2025 — The Information Technology Study Program successfully carried out its Field Assessment (AL) as part of the accreditation process from April 14 to 16, 2025.
The activity took place at the Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM) building and proceeded smoothly with strong collaborative spirit.
The Field Assessment was conducted by two assessors from the Independent Accreditation Agency for Informatics and Computing (LAM INFOKOM):
1.Dr. Uky Yudatama, S.Si., M.Kom., M.M
2.Dr. Ir. Taufik Baidawi, S.Kom., M.Kom
The assessors conducted a series of reviews and clarifications regarding the accreditation documents previously submitted. Key aspects evaluated included curriculum, human resources, facilities, study program management, as well as student and graduate outcomes and achievements.
In his remarks, the Dean of FILKOM expressed appreciation and full support for this assessment process, stating, “We hope this activity serves as a moment of reflection and evaluation to further improve the quality of education in the Information Technology Study Program.”
The Field Assessment also involved the entire academic community, including lecturers, students, administrative staff, alumni, and industry partners, all of whom participated in interviews and discussion sessions with the assessors.
With the completion of the assessment on April 16, 2025, there is great expectation that the Information Technology Study Program will achieve an optimal accreditation result, in line with its vision and mission to become an excellent study program in the field of information technology at both the national and international levels.
