UNH Information Technology Study Program Holds Internship Socialization, Preparing a Job-Ready Generation

On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, the Information Technology Study Program of Universitas Nurdin Hamzah (UNH) held a Student Internship Socialization.

The event, which took place in the Faculty of Computer Science Hall, was attended by final-semester students who will soon begin their internship program.

The session was officially opened by the Head of the Information Technology Study Program, Mr. Fattachul Huda Aminuddin, S.Kom., M.Pd.T, accompanied by the Secretary of the Study Program, Mr. Ahmad Husna Ahadi, M.Kom. Both emphasized the importance of internships as a bridge between academic learning and the professional world. Internships are expected to provide real-world experience, broaden students’ perspectives, and strengthen work skills that align with current industry needs.

"We want our students not only to excel in technical abilities but also to possess strong soft skills, such as communication, teamwork, and professional ethics," said Mr. Fattachul Huda Aminuddin during his remarks.

The socialization session covered explanations on internship procedures, administrative guidelines, workplace ethics, and tips for adapting to companies or institutions where students will be placed. Students also received guidance on preparing internship reports in accordance with university standards.

The event proceeded interactively, featuring a Q&A session that encouraged active participation from students. Many took the opportunity to ask about choosing internship locations, task distribution, and job opportunities after the internship program.

To conclude the event, an internship commitment signing ceremony was held as a symbol of shared dedication between students and the university to carry out the internship program professionally and with high quality.

With this activity, it is hoped that UNH Information Technology students will be better prepared to face the challenges of the workforce, adapt to technological advancements, and contribute meaningfully to the industry at both local and national levels.
