Best Private University in Jambi UNH - Held at the Abadi Convention Center, Jambi City, on Wednesday (December 17, 2025), Universitas Nurdin Hamzah (UNH) convened an Open Senate Meeting in celebration of its Anniversary (Dies Natalis) and its 5th Graduation Ceremony.
On this occasion, UNH graduated 143 students from five study programs: Information Systems, Informatics Engineering, Information Technology, Communication Science, and Government Science.
The solemn 5th Graduation Ceremony of UNH was attended by the Governor of Jambi, represented by the Expert Staff for Economic and Development Affairs, Mukhtamar Hamdi, M.M. Also in attendance were representatives of the Head of LLDIKTI Region X, Syahril, S.H., M.H., members of the TNI–Polri, representatives of higher education institutions, UNH’s partner institutions, as well as all members of the Dewi Nurdin Hamzah Foundation, including Ferdy, S.H.; Sum Indra, M.M.Si., who is also a member of the Regional Representative Council (DPD RI); Revani Devi; Ferry Ardiansyah; and Debby Anggraini Septi.
In his address, the Rector of UNH, Dr. Samsuddin, S.Sos., M.I.P., emphasized that the success of graduates is not determined solely by mastery of knowledge. “Knowledge alone is not enough to secure employment. UNH graduates must uphold integrity, be innovative, adaptable, and responsible. Do not forget to seek your parents’ blessings as a guiding light in achieving your aspirations,” he stated.
The Governor of Jambi’s Expert Staff, Mukhtamar Hamdi, conveyed that higher education must be specifically formulated to respond to life’s challenges and to remain competitive. “Academic ability alone is not sufficient; graduates must also develop soft skills, maintain integrity and capability, and be able to adapt to technological advancements and digital adoption,” he said. He expressed confidence that UNH is capable of producing innovations and solutions to various societal issues.
On this graduation occasion, UNH also announced four outstanding graduates: Muhammad Juzaili (Information Systems), Fajri Arvandi (Information Technology), Dinda Syakilla (Communication Science), and Miko Hamdani (Government Science). (***)
