UNHNews - Universitas Nurdin Hamzah (UNH) continues to demonstrate its commitment to promoting health awareness through the implementation of the Cancer and Tumor Awareness Seminar. The activity was held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Building B of the Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM) Universitas Nurdin Hamzah, in collaboration with the Yayasan Pencegahan Kanker Nusantara as part of a joint effort to provide health education for the university community.
The socialization program was attended by lecturers, staff, and employees of Universitas Nurdin Hamzah, aiming to broaden their understanding of cancer and tumor-related issues. Through this educational activity, participants gained valuable insights into risk factors, warning signs and symptoms, healthy lifestyle practices, and preventive measures that can be implemented in daily life.
During the session, the speakers emphasized that early detection is one of the most important steps in improving the effectiveness of cancer treatment. Understanding early symptoms and developing awareness of regular health check-ups are essential efforts to reduce the risk of late diagnosis and improve health outcomes within the community.
