UNHNews – Universitas Nurdin Hamzah (UNH) welcomed an audience visit from the Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Jambi Province, Brigadier General of Police Asep Saepudin, S.I.K., as part of efforts to strengthen relations and build institutional synergy. The activity took place at the Universitas Nurdin Hamzah campus and was directly received by the Rector of UNH, Dr. Samsuddin, S.Sos., M.IP., along with the university leadership.
The audience meeting served as an important momentum to enhance cooperation between the Jambi Provincial BNN and Universitas Nurdin Hamzah, particularly in efforts to prevent and combat drug abuse within the higher education environment. The meeting discussed various strategic programs that can be implemented collaboratively, such as education on the dangers of drugs, healthy lifestyle campaigns, and strengthening the role of students as agents of change.
The Rector of Universitas Nurdin Hamzah expressed UNH’s commitment to supporting the programs of the Jambi Provincial BNN in creating a drug-free campus environment. According to him, higher education institutions play a vital role in shaping the character and integrity of the younger generation, making sustained collaboration with various stakeholders, including BNN, essential.
Through this audience meeting, it is hoped that stronger synergy will be established between the Jambi Provincial BNN and Universitas Nurdin Hamzah in realizing a healthy, safe, and integrity-driven campus. This collaboration is also expected to have a positive impact on students and the wider community in the collective effort to combat drug abuse.
